Price range: £5.99 through £9.99

The human world is no place for a god, but toiling on Earth may just teach an angel how to fly once again…
Eleazar Starson, prince of Splendour and heir to the Great Throne of Honor, is living his worst nightmare. Betrayed and grievously injured, he has been cast from a world of light and beauty to suffer in the Below, a world of darkness and despair populated with demonic ghouls and vile creatures. It is a terrible world, a human world. It is an awful place for a god, especially one as beautiful and brilliant as Eleazar.
But, broken and lost, he is a god struggling in the muck, his only allies a pair of atheist siblings
who would sooner worship a burnt ghoul than show him proper obeisance and the closest gateway back to Splendour is half a world away through a wild and daunting landscape of chaos, monsters and men. He has no choice but to endure the unspeakable horrors of this human place, this war-torn world of carbines and steel rails and smoke-belching factories, not if he wishes to return to Splendour and reclaim his place among the Angelus.
And he will, Eleazar the Fallen, for the desire for vengeance glows like molten metal in his godly veins. Crippled as he is, a half-angel, no better than a human, he must find a new way to fly. Even if it means depending on the strange and frightening technology of the beastly humans. He will return to Splendour. Or bring Splendour crashing down around him.

“With gloriously brutal worldbuilding, and the kinds of characters you can’t help but root for, Wings of Steel and Fury is a thrilling quest for survival, revenge, and redemption set against a vision of an imperfect heaven and an all-too-human hell. Weaving a story about the darkness and repercussions of war, as well as the importance of reckoning with our own angels and demons, this is a timely reminder of the strength and ingenuity of the masses when facing oppression by the powerful. The revolution is here.”
Dan Hanks, author of Swashbucklers and The Way Up Is Death“The hierarchy of humans and angels flipped? A fallen angel that fucks? Wings of Steel and Fury is a live, pacy adventure with powerful twists that will keep your blood running hot!”
– Chris Panatier, author of The Phlebotomist, Stringers and The Redemption of Morgan Bright“A spellbinding tale of angels falling, worlds colliding, and the quest for vengeance. Daley always delivers.”
– Dan Koboldt, author of The Silver Queendom

“Daley’s worldbuilding is deep and lived-in, and the protagonists’ fight to reveal the truth of their world makes for a gripping read. Moments of beauty punctuate the darkness in a way that satisfies and feels truly magical.”
– Khan Wong, author of The Circus Infinite and Down in the Sea of Angels

“Even in a world of angels and burning ghouls, Daley’s knack for characters stands out. They’re messy and full of whims and vigor. You don’t know whether to punch them, shake them, or kiss them.”
– R.W.W. Greene, author of Mercury Rising

“Intriguing world building helps offset a too-conventional story line and the predictable love triangle in this stand-alone romantasy.”
