A Compendium of Supernatural Entities Found in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School

Price range: £5.99 through £9.99

Girls are going missing at in a small school in Tamil Nadu but from inside the school – absorbed into concrete floors, dissolved into air by the sun – something else is lurking between veils of worlds.

In a very small town in Tamil Nadu, a government girls higher secondary school boasts a high number of missing girls. None of them have ever been found and efforts to search for them are minimal.

Thamarai is a below-average student at this school. Life is a dreary, monotonous cycle of memorising texts she doesn’t understand and being ignored by her classmates, who think her strange and disquieting. Her strange and monstrous English teacher gently abuses her, flouting his favouritism and lust for one of Thamarai’s many classmates, the devastatingly gorgeous Yamuna, openly and wantonly.

But Thamarai is the only person to realise that the girls are going missing in her classroom, disintegrating in the heat and drowning in the concrete floor. Seeking the girls means Thamarai unlocks the ability to travel between this world and the surreal and discovers the unknown. However, she becomes less tangible in the real world each time she travels.

As the English teacher’s carnality increases, Thamarai devises a plan to stop him. But with her corporeal body on the line, will Thamarai be able to stop the monster in her classroom before she disappears entirely?
