The cheery, chocolate loving
Amber Royer, debut author of the upcoming
Free Chocolate, will be putting in appearances from afternoon tea to workshops that you won’t need a golden ticket for – though we would still encourage the obsessive purchase of chocolate. Here’s where Amber will be over the next couple of weeks:
ConDFW
Between
16-18 February Amber will be on several panels at the
Radisson Hotel Fort Worth sitting on panels on short story writing, the lone pilots of space opera, writing comedy and more. Find out more
here.
Fresh Fiction Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea with Amber will be held on
10 March at the
Chocolate Angel Cafe, in Richardson, TX. Amber will be there to chat, talk about current reads, and definitely to eat chocolate. Tickets on sale
now.
Writing Workshop – Writing Characters People Get Attached To
On
11 March between
4pm-7pm Amber will be presenting a seminar on writing characters with Writing Workshops Dallas. If you want to learn from an author who remembers just starting out then
book your tickets to attend and meet at
The Foundry Club at Mockingbird Station, Dallas, or watch a livestream if you’re busy in space trading in cacao.
Wordfest
Check out the coming Wordfest events for
24 March to meet and learn from Amber at the Students Union Building in
Tarrant County College, Hurst TX between
9am-4pm no need to buy tickets, just
register and turn up.
Writing Workshop – Villains as the Mirror of Heroes
Amber will return to Writing Workshops Dallas on
1 April to give a seminar on villains and their relationship with their heroic counterparts. Again the seminar will run between
4pm-7pm at
The Foundry Club and will be livestreamed for those who can’t make it. Don’t forget to buy your
tickets.
This should stave off those
Free Chocolate cravings until the release in June!
