We’re immensely saddened to learn of the death of Eric Brown. We only published one of his books; Wormhole, his extremely fine SF detective novel co-authored with his very close friend Keith Brooke, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. But Eric’s reputation was cemented over three decades of writing thoughtful and deeply humane SF novels. He also had a long-time stint as a genre reviewer for The Guardian: a job he approached with typical generosity and thoroughness.
