We have some exciting news for you fleshy readers today! Myke Cole, author of the Shadow Ops series and Tor Publishing’s The Armoured Saint will be joining us here at Angry Robot with his own contribution to the robot uprising, the beginning of a military space opera series the likes fall of which we have never seen before.

You’ve suffered alongside characters through fights, rebellions, intergalactic wars, maybe even some racy space politics, but you’ve never lived through this; Myke is bringing the US Coast Guard to space!

His new series SAR-1 will be published by your mechanical overlords in 2019, so you have plenty of time to hype yourself up. Here’s a short summary of the first book to help you do just that:
