Our biggest competition ever – win ALL our books
ByWe are in the midst of our w
eek-long birthday celebrations having turned two late last week. And although we welcome presents (or even envelopes stuffed with cash) we also felt like we should give something back as well.
So we are running our biggest competition ever – giving away a set of books that includes every title we have published over the last couple of years. We are also giving away a matching set of eBooks.
All you have to do to enter is to flex your creative muscles and come up with a lovely (or cringeworthy / funny / ridiculous) Hallmark style poem that would suit a birthday card for Angry Robot.
Then, send it to me – with a note saying whether you want the eBooks or the physical books – and the two poems that most appeal to us will win!

This is unfair. I cannot write poetry. I can write code. You should have a programming competition!

Although, if you are in ‘beyond’ it might take you a while to download all of our ebooks – apparently the internet connection in the ISS is pretty shoddy…

Count me in! I don’t really write humor, but I think I can come up with something!

Entered a happy-birthday-type thingy. Don’t expect it to win though. If this was stories however…

Could you not just write the code to a really elegent short programme and hope they include that. A very clever way to say happy birthday on the screen (or hello world).
Techies would love if you did a great programme for that and printed it in the card :)

Steph,
I don’t like the odds of that winning any competitions :)

…. I’ve been doing a drum roll for a week now… I’m exhausted. I think i’ll have to stop soon.

Never fear – results before the end of the week. And good work on the drum roll, apparently it keeps you super fit!
