Lauren Beukes’ Zoo City – the cover

Yesterday we debuted the cover of Lauren Beukes‘ next book, Zoo City over at Dave Brendon’s SciFi and Fantasy Weblog, where it received a number of very nice comments from a number of very nice people, and rightly so. Look at it – it’s gorgeous. The cover was soon picked up by a number of other blogs, who have since reposted it, and again said some very nice things about it. The Twitterverse was also busy with praise.

You only have until May to wait for it…

It was an absolute honor and pleasure to be chosen to break the cover, thanks Lauren, Lee and Marc!
Not only is Zoo City promising to be an awesome read, but John’s cover art is crazy-good, and the post is still (yes, still!) trumping GRRM’s A Game of Thrones HBO-adaptation for views! Very proud of my fellow South African, damn chuffed that the blog got chosen and John Picacio is a legend. ‘Nuff said!
