Cover preview: The Bookman
By
Morning, meat things. Here’s a little treat for an autumnal Monday morning. Namely, the cover art for our upcoming steampunk epic, The Bookman, by that man Lavie Tidhar. Give it a click to enlarge it and soak up all the atmosphere and detail, eh? You know you want to.
It’s by the frankly lovely David Frankland, the British artist whose very individual style has recently attracted massive acclaim on covers by the likes of Philip Reeve, Hannah Tinti and Christopher Fowler. What do you think?
Now the real arguments begin, of course… just what is the perfect Steampunk-with-lizard-overlords typeface for Lavie’s opus?
