Slights will be published in the UK on 1st July 09, with a US edition following in September.
That incredible quote, by the way, is right on the money. This is an extraordinary book.

Please say it has a matt finish. Or some method to stop the cursed fingerprints o’ doom appearing on anything black, anyway.

On second viewing, I’m reminded of the 1979 version of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. The ending of that film creeps me out even now.

Read this and I’m still recovering. Fitting cover for a wonderfully disturbing book. It’s terrific and, well, horrible. Is there a support group available for survivors – ah readers?
